Bernards Township GOP Endorses Committeeman David Tancredi and Hills Highland President Bill McMahon to Run for Township Committee

Bernards, NJ - Township Committeeman David Tancredi and Hills Highland President Bill McMahon have overwhelmingly earned the endorsement of the Bernards Township Republican Municipal Committee (BTRMC) to run for Township Committee.
“Congratulations to David and Bill who represent all of the best qualities we, as residents, hope for in our Township Committee,“ said Scott Mitzner, Chair of the BTRMC. “David and Bill have proven track records of fighting tirelessly for all of our residents and ensuring that Bernards will remain the ideal community to live in and raise our families.”
Committeeman Tancredi is a local small business owner and proud father of 2 Ridge High
graduates. David has actively served on numerous Township boards over the past decade,
including 7 years on the Zoning Board of Adjustment with the last 4 plus as Vice-Chair. In this
role, David evaluated and voted to outright reject the recent Allen Road Manufacturing proposal, and is dedicated to preserving the nature and character of our community. He has also served as Chair of the Environmental Commission and Vice-President of the Board of Trustees at the Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church. As a Township Committeeman, David serves on the Planning Board, Recreation, Parks, and Pathways Committee, the Pool Commission, the Sewerage Authority, and on various Somerset County committees as well.
Bill McMahon has been a Bernards resident for over 28 years and is the proud father of 2 and
grandfather of 3. Bill brings with him an essentially unmatchable skillset of leadership, management, community engagement and dedication to his fellow neighbors and residents. His work as Managing Director and Divisional Director at Morgan Stanley was extremely rewarding, but Bill always knew he wanted to serve his community and give back to those around him. Bill has now been President of the Hills Highland Master Association since 2020 and has overseen governance of the Hills to ensure all residents are always listened to, respected and protected.
Township Committeeman David Tancredi and Hills Highland President Bill McMahon have
proven track records of commitment, integrity, and dedication. They will fight against
overdevelopment, ensure the safety and well-being of the public, and work tirelessly on behalf of all Bernards residents.
