JOHN J. BAYEUX MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Bernards Township Republican Municipal Committee is excited to announce they are accepting applications for the John J. Bayeux, Jr. Memorial Scholarship for Political Science.
This year’s scholarship has been expanded to benefit two high school juniors who are residents of Bernards Township. The chosen applicants will participate in a one-week internship at the New Jersey State House with State Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. and State Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, where the interns will attend work and voting sessions.
The internship will take place the week of June 24, the final week of voting before the Assembly adjourns for summer recess, and includes a $500 award per student for transportation and meal costs.

The scholarship application is available below in a downloadable PDF and Word document. Ridge High School juniors should post their completed application to Naviance. High school juniors who are residents of Bernards but attend private school are asked to return their completed application to the email address on the application.
Applications are due by May 31, 2019, and the Scholarship Committee will notify winners and runners up on
