Bernards GOP supports Bernards Chinese American Association's New Year celebration

Bernards Township, NJ - The Bernards Township Republican Municipal Committee (BTRMC) is proud to support the Bernards Chinese American Association (BCCA) as they host their Lunar New Year Celebration on Sunday evening, Jan. 29, at Ridge High School, 268 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.

“The RMC is proud to support the Bernards Chinese American Association and beyond excited for the Chinese New Year celebration!," explained Scott Mitzner, Chair of the BTRMC. "We look forward to joining together with the Chinese American community and our elected officials Congressman Tom Kean, Senator Jon Bramnick, Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, Assemblywoman Michele Matsikoudis, Mayor Andrew McNally, Deputy Mayor Jennifer Asay and our Township Committee."


Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. A buffet dinner will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m., with games from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and shows from 7 to 9 p.m.


Various dances, presentations, music and martial arts will be demonstrated.

The event is part of the “Fabric of Bernards’’ event series offered by the township. Its moto is: “Every resident is a thread, woven together into the strong and unique fabric of Bernards.”
